Hannover Re is a market for all property lines. Although we offer capacity for both proportional and non-proportional reinsurance, we recommend non-proportional, i.e. Excess of Loss (XoL) solutions.

Our underwriters take a technical approach to underwriting and cooperate closely with our specialised property actuaries. We are not ambitious to offer the most competitive quotations. In order to remain a strong partner, we believe that it is in our common interest to diligently evaluate exposures, to apply our Hannover Re pricing system, and to analyse the return on equity potential of each piece of business. In return, we are able to offer large capacities and an excellent security.
