Our scope of services and solutions is obligatory Property and Casualty business of all classes.
Hannover Re has been present in the Italian market for approximately forty years, and during this period we have systematically enlarged our portfolio and the number of our clients. Our goal is to offer our customers and brokers an optimum of quoting services and solutions.
Our financial strength and its resulting good security allow us to offer substantial capacity. We are quite prepared to lead treaties and do so with sizeable shares. It is not our target to expand our market share aggressively, but we are committed to align the quality standards of our portfolio with the requirements of our risk based capital models. This includes, among other underwriting criteria, that we concentrate our efforts on non-proportional business, without however losing sight of good quality proportional business.
Our marketing activities in Italy are greatly supported by the P&C team in our Service Company in Milan. We regard them as being a part of our team in Hannover. The distribution of responsibilities, underwriting in Hannover and marketing in Milan has proven to work well, and we look forward to being approached by you.
