Following our decentralised approach and depending upon the cedant's location, traditional treaty reinsurance business for standard lines is underwritten either by one of our local offices (Stockholm for Scandinavia, Bahrain for Middle East and Takaful business, Johannesburg for sub-Saharan Africa, Kuala Lumpur for South- and Southeast Asia, Shanghai for Mainland China), or a regional underwriting department within our home office.
Global Treaty writes pro-rata as well as non-proportional reinsurance. Our flexibility allows us to accept business directly and through brokers.
