Target Markets
Our approach to our geographic target markets is highly coordinated. They are managed directly out of our home office and serviced intensively by our "travelling underwriters".
For treaty reinsurance our target markets are North America as our largest and Germany as our important domestic market, plus Switzerland, Austria and Italy. Also covered is all shareholder business, whether from insurers of the Talanx group or the minority shareholders of E+S Rück, our dedicated reinsurer for German cedants.
