Our Hannover based department bridges the needs of reinsurance buyers with the demands of investors in the capital market. Knowing both sides we perform as an aggregator and transformer of traditional reinsurance risks. In tailoring these risks to suit investors' risks spectrum, we have the ability to retain certain risk elements within our group. Plus, Hannover Re's brand name recognition further improves the acceptability level of our transactions.
In addition and cooperation with Hannover Re's investment manager, the department also reviews and participates in unrelated insurance linked securities, and thus assumes the role of an investor in these transactions.
