UK and London Market
Due to its unique set up, the dominating role of the reinsurance broker, and the role of Lloyd's and the London market as a hub for specialty risks worldwide, we have established our London Market unit as Hannover Re's dedicated counterparty for its reinsurance demands.
We write all but the specialty lines (i.e. marine, aviation, credit), primarily on a non-proportional basis. Beyond the London market, we also serve the rest of the U.K. and Ireland.
