Run Off Solutions
Created in 2003, Run Off Solutions (ROS) is Hannover Re’s group-wide dedicated division for proactive risk management via commutation and other exit strategies with the goal of reducing exposure where economically viable taking into account our client’s interests. Moreover, Run Off Solutions supports Hannover Re’s credit risk management in such cases as business partners’ financial distress (supporting the debt collection process), (solvent / insolvent) Schemes of Arrangement, and portfolio transfers.
In the use of its group wide mandate to negotiate with business partners worldwide, Run Off Solutions cooperates closely with Hannover Re’s international business centres and underwriting divisions. An approach is determined for each individual case and on its own merits. Thus proceedings will be tailored according to the specific circumstances of the contractual or business relationship.
Run Off Solutions is in charge not only in commutation-linked tasks but also inward portfolio audits that may include underwriting, claims, and accounting aspects of the business assumed by Hannover Re. These tasks are geared towards our client's interests.
Last not least, through its presence in Creditors’ Committees and active participation in run off conferences and seminars, Run Off Solutions continuously strengthens its well known expertise in run off topics as well as consolidates its prominent position in the run off market.
